Gabriel Cosmetics Spring Eyeshadow Palettes

I don't know about where you live, but here in New England, we've had just about enough cold weather. It's gotten so cold I've had headaches for days in a row - not fun! I'm so looking forward to the warmth of spring, open windows and all those fresh shades of makeup. This season Gabriel Cosmetics has launched two new palettes to jump start your spring collection - the Classic Palette II and the Daydream Palette. I love these palettes together and individually. They're all you need for a simple spring look.

If you're familiar with the original Classic Palette, filled with warm and cool neutrals, you'll love the updated version. The Classic Palette II has four versatile, matte neutrals for an effortless look for day or night. Shades include: Vanilla (cream), Toast (midtone brown), Cocoa (light cool brown), and Chocolate Brown (deep brown). [Read about the Gabriel Cosmetics brushes here!]

I'm a die-hard neutral eyeshadow palette lover so this palette is a definite must-have in my book. It has every neutral shade I would reach for when creating a basic look as well as those needed to combine with more shimmery looks. These are the shadows that, at least for me, get used up first when they're in palettes! This gem is ideal for travel but it's got a permanent place on my vanity because it's oh so versatile.

If you love incorporating pastel eyeshadow palettes into your spring looks, Gabriel Cosmetics has introduced their new Daydream Palette for spring. It's a collection of muted pastels that can be worn alone or combined with the Classic Palette II. I was pleasantly surprised with the colors in this palette as they are very flattering and versatile.

I love that they included a matte pinky beige shade for the crease so you can create a dimensional look without getting washed out with pastels. The other three shades are shimmers: a silvery gray, sky blue and pale green.
