Makeup Inspired by Pantone's Living Coral

Pantone's color of the year for 2019 is living coral. This versatile coral has a golden undertone and is ideal for incorporating in your makeup routine. Where should you start? The easiest way, I've found, is with blushes. This shade is flattering and brings life to the complexion, especially in the winter months. Two shades to start off your collection are Gabriel Cosmetics blush in Apricot and Zuzu Luxe blush in Sunset.

I can't say I incorporate every trend into my beauty routine, but when it comes to versatile, flattering colors, I'm all for it. Living coral is a beautiful shade that can be worn as a shadow, lip color, nail polish, and my favorite, blush. Gabriel Cosmetics Apricot and Zuzu Luxe Sunset are two everyday shades that make it easy to bring living coral into your makeup collection.

Gabriel Cosmetics' Apricot blush is a warm peachy pink with a silky smooth formula. This is my second blush from their collection and I love how smooth they are. They blend so easily on the skin because they have jojoba oil. This allows for an effortless application and gives a natural glow to the skin.

Zuzu Luxe's Sunset blush is a warm apricot shimmer that also has jojoba oil. The shimmer in this blush is subtle but allows me to skip highlighter because of the glow it provides. This warm shade pairs well with all my go-to looks and is a great all-season color to add to your collection.

You can see from the swatches above, how incredibly smooth these blushes apply to the skin. If you typically go for warmer, peach tones, you may prefer Sunset. If you crave a brighter flush with a hint of pink, you'll love Apricot. Both blushes coordinate with a wide range of colors so you can't go wrong with either!
