Monthly Favorites - October 2015

I don't always write about my monthly favorites, but this month I figured, oh why not?!  At first glance these may not look like typical fall favorites, but I've loved using these products because they are so versatile!

First up, my LuxePineapple brow powder in Dark Brown.  My Laura Geller brow powder shattered after falling on carpet (really??) so I was in desperate need of a replacement that didn't break the bank.  Thanks to an amazing sale, and always prompt shipping, I had a new brow powder in no time.  This formula is smooth, pigmented and easy to blend for a natural look.  I love it so much I ordered another in a lighter shade to compliment it.  Love.

Next is my Han Skin Care Cosmetics blush in Baby Pink.  When I can't decide what blush to wear, I always reach for this shade.  It's a snap to apply, gives the cheeks a natural flush, and goes with literally anything.  Not only that, it is a matte blush so if I don't want any excess shine on a particular day, this is my go-to!

A hand cream may seem like a "basic" this time of year, but how many times do you get to use one that smells like marshmallow?!  My Farmhouse Fresh hand cream in Marshmallow Melt has been a daily treat ever since I got it.  I can put it on my vanity or throw it in my purse for on-the-go moisture.  I love the squeeze tube for easy application without the mess too.

This has been a month of light pink lips for me.  Something about this fresh, feminine color has really appealed to me.  This month's pick has been my Gallany Lucite Lips lip gloss in Lolita.  Even if I start the day with a different shade, I find myself reaching for this gloss for quick touch-ups to freshen my look.  This formula is hydrating, not sticky and smells like my beloved EOS lip balm in Sweet Mint.  What's not to love?

Lastly, some favorites you'll be seeing in an upcoming review - a couple brushes from the Luxie Beauty Detail Makeup Brush set.  These two have been my favorite because they are the most versatile - the Detail Round & Angled Blender brushes.  I have been loving them for flawless blending of my concealer.  Whether I use a liquid or stick formula, these brushes have blended my concealer to perfection.  I love my Luxie brushes!!
